The Student Association is here to make your time at Kingscliff TAFE more enjoyable by providing a range of great services, facilities and activities for students and staff.

Membership is voluntary and all fees are used to fund facilities, services and activities.

Student Association membership benefits

For just $20 a year you can become a member and receive exclusive benefits such as:

• common rooms with kitchens, microwaves, hot water
• tables and chairs for your utilization
• free barbeques and entertainment
• cd’s and dvd’s from the library
• games and sporting equipment for members use

Student Association Board

A board of students and staff governs the Student Association. The board is elected each year at the annual general meeting. We encourage all students and staff to participate and join the Student Association.

What is the Kingscliff Student Association?

The Kingscliff Student Association is an organisation within the Kingscliff TAFE College. Our primary role is to establish a forum allowing students to have a say in the running and organisation of the TAFE campus at Kingscliff.

 Most people on campus equate the Association with those people who give out a bag of goodies when they join and occasionally put on a BBQ. However we are so much more than that.

Our mission statement is “Making Campus Life Better”. Towards this end we provide facilities, such as the fridges and microwaves in small kitchenettes and outdoor seating and smoking areas. Providing assistance, financially or materially, to member’s classes & sourcing cheap products and services for our members is another way we, as an organisation, work towards this means.

Upcoming Events

Don’t forget that the Association’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday March 3^rd at midday in the BBQ gazebo. This is the most important meeting of the year as the committee will be decided upon here. If you want to have a say on affairs on our campus this is the perfect way. Get involved in the committee and influence the campus at Kingscliff TAFE.

All members are welcome, and lunch will be provided.

Welcome to the new blog from the Student Association at Kingscliff TAFE, Northern NSW, Australia.

This is a new initiative being undertaken by us on behalf of our members. We hope that this will provide a forum for members to be kept up to date with activities and issues concerning the Student Association at Kingscliff TAFE.

Weekly postings about these will be placed here, and Association members are encouraged to place comments about these or any other issues that they know about on our campus. If you have any ideas for activities on campus please let us know. This is what the blog is all about, interconnectivity between members and their association.
